Staff Profile   Anthony Tumea, CPA/Owner Tony graduated from Drake University and has been a CPA since 1974. Prior to starting Tumea & Associates CPA Firm in 1984, he gained experience in Public Accounting at  KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick.)  He also held management positions in a Fortune 500 company and in a national software consulting firm. Tony is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), past board member of the Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer and past President of the Downers Grove Lions Club, as well as having been involved in long-range planning for the Village of Downers Grove. He is also a member and officer of West Towns Chorus. He has written various articles on tax saving opportunities which are available to you at your request. Prior to that she was employed as a bookkeeper and accountant for other companies. She is involved in most phases of our clients' accounting needs, ranging from financial statement preparation to tax preparation, including payroll taxes, sales taxes, and income taxes. She looks forward to working with you.   Connie Kollmeyer, Accountant Connie is a student at Illnois Valley Community College and is working towards her accounting degree and CPA certification. She can also be of assistance to you when setting up your Quickbooks or other in-house financial software.   Joyce Tumea, Marketing Admin/Web Site Designer Joyce is responsible for our newsletter and other communications with our current and prospective clients, including this website. in addition to light administrative and bookkeeping duties, she also handles the administrative function of our investment clients.
